Franz & Shape - Acceleration

Franz & Shape sind Francesco Spazzoli und Chris Shape. Sie wurden musikalisch entscheidend durch die New-Wave und Elektro-Szene der 80er beeinflusst. Daher sind nicht nur ihre Live-Auftritte von Synthies und Samplern geprägt. Ihr wohl derzeit bekanntester Titel „countach“ wurde bereits im Jahr 2005 released und ziert so manche Compilation, wie zum Beispiel die „Misch Masch“ von Freeform Five auf Four Music. Aktueller ist ihre „Destination/Location EP“ mit GD Luxxe und Chelonis R. Jones und dem Titel „God lost my Address“ der sich auch in Playlists von Kid Alex wiederfand. Das nun vorliegende Debütalbum „Acceleration“ enthält eine Reihe interessanter Kollaborationen mit u.a. David Carretta, Mount Sims & Ian Clark. Mal ruhiger und wieder „beschleunigend“ mit sämtlichen bisher erschienenen Tracks im Original. (Pete Lacazz)
