Sister Bliss, MC Maxi und Producer Rollo melden sich nach 4 Jahren mit einem neuen Album zurück. "The Dance" erscheint am 14.05. und der Name ist Programm! Faithless haben schon vor 14 Jahren die Grenzen zwischen Rock und Techno eingerissen und damit den Weg bereitet für Acts wie Justice oder Soulwax.
"We definitely put an effort into returning to our dancefloor roots on this album," sagt Bliss. " ‘To All New Arrivals´, was a beautiful record, but its mood was more quiet and reflective. This record was a big thank you to our fans as well as a mark of the eclecticism of our band. It’s a reconnection with where we’ve come from – we definitely wanted to feel that housey, anthemic energy again – but it’s also about renewal. Dance music has experienced such a resurgence, we’re still a little leftfield, and we’ve still got something to say."
Als Gäste haben sich Faithless Dido, den Sänger Dougy Mandagi von The Temper Trap, Itch von The King Blues sowie Mia Maestro eingeladen.
Die Band ist Ende April, Anfang Mai auf Tour und die Daten sind bereits so gut wie ausverkauft.
Die erste Single passt zum Thema: "Not Going Home" erscheint am 30.04.
